CaribWorldNews, OTTAWA, Canada, Fri. July 25, 2008: The countdown has begun to another Caribbean carnival in Ottawa.

The 2008 Ottawa Caribbean Festival, CARIBE-EXPO 2008, is set to get underway on August 10th with the children`s carnival at the Gloucester High School Grounds from 2 p.m.

This will be followed by the official opening on August 15 at Festival Plaza from noon and the Steelband on the Green later that evening from 7 p.m.

The annual street parade will take over the Plaza on August 16 from noon while the event wraps up with a soccer and gospel fest on August 17 at noon and 7 p.m.
