CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, N.Y., Fri. July 18, 2008: The Caribbean`s emancipation from slavery is set to be marked in Jamaica, Queens next month with the first `Celebrate Caribbean Emancipation` event.
The celebration is set for The Harvest Room, 90-40 160th Street, Jamaica, NY from 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 3.
Noted Jamaican businessman, Vincent "Vinnie" HoSang, CEO and President of Royal Caribbean Bakery, Caribbean Food Delights and JerkQ'zine is set to be the guest speaker while tickets are all-inclusive at $65 each and provides access to an open bar and Jamaican/Chinese cuisine, a fashion show, theatre performances by the Caribbean Cultural Theatre and music by the popular NY-based band, Ruff Stuff.
