One Caribbean Radio WSNR 620 AM will be hosting its first annual food, cake, arts and craft festival on August 16th and 17th, 2008, from 11 am to 8 p.m. both days. 

 `The Essence of the Caribbean` is expected to attract over 20,000 attendees, vendors and businesses from the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Tri-state area, and international visitors.

 `We are committed to exposing all Caribbean food and culture as symbols of excellence and quality. We have a rich, significant history and exciting future,` says Bobby Vieira, General Manager of One Caribbean Radio.

No Caribbean festival would be complete without the vivacious and pulsating sounds of calypso, zouk, kaiso, compra, reggae and bouyon.  These genres will be represented in the festival’s `Pulse of the Caribbean`, a segment featuring a vibrant array of musical blends and sounds from the region’s many talented artistes and performers.
