CaribWorldNews, PROVINCALES, Turks & Caicos, Tues. Oct. 27, 2009: Jamaican businessman, David Smith, who is accused of 26 counts of criminal offences regarding his company OLINT TCI, will now have to wait on a November court date.
Smith yesterday had his case postponed to November 3rd in the British dependent Turks and Caicos Islands. The charges against him include theft, false accounting and uttering false documents in the TCI.
Smith was first arrested in February, then in June and again in September as additional charges were laid against him in relation to the failed investment club.
He is free on US$1 million bail.
