Trinidad: Elderly Woman Killed By Landslide
 

 

CaribWorldNews, PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Mon. Nov. 17, 2008: A 65-year-old woman was on Sunday killed when her home collapsed following a landslide.

Barbara Emmanuel, of Le Platte Village, Morne Coco Road, Maraval, was trapped inside her home and died there after the collapsed house was swept into a river.

Emmanuel, according to Trinidad Express reports, has survived two landslides before Sunday`s, which followed torrential rains.
