CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Feb.15, 2008: Face Of Fashion under the direction of Carla Hazel made history last month when Saint Lucian beauty Cathy Daniel graced the runaway at the Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World Contest on January 16, 2008.

`Caribbean Cathy` as she was affectionately called looked fierce and was introduced to the international fashion world amidst a throng of 50 aspiring models from all over the world.

It is the first time ever that a representative from the Caribbean has participated in such a prestigious fashion modeling contest. This was due to the hard work and perseverance of Face of Fashion founder/President, Carla Hazel.  There were many stumbling blocks along the way, but the goal of giving a Caribbean Girl the opportunity of a lifetime, propelled Face of Fashion forward to the end.  According to Ms. Hazel, her passion for fashion and desire to assist Caribbean aspiring models in realizing their dream was her driving force.

Through Carla's passion for fashion, endless determination, and hard work, young women from the Caribbean Fashion Community now have more reasons to dream big and a new access onto the International Fashion Stage through Face Of Fashion, a New York-based modeling agency whose niche is the Caribbean.

Face Of Fashion is scouting for 2008/2009 Supermodel of the Caribbean. The open-call audition is in the scenic Caribbean island of Antigua.
