CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Aug. 7, 2009: Bajan Grammy star, Rihanna, is set to be among the star powered guests of the new Jay Leno Show.
According to a statement issued Thursday afternoon by NBC, Rihanna, Kanye West and JAY-Z will perform `Run This Town,` a track on JAY-Z`s upcoming The Blueprint 3 album.
The Jay Leno Show is scheduled to be aired Monday-Friday from 10-11 p.m. ET/PT.
This will be one of Rihanna`s first public performances since being involved in an altercation with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in February. The announcement comes a day after a judge postponed sentencing in the case of the singer`s former boyfriend, Chris Brown, who admitted he assaulted her in February.
The judge said she was postponing the sentence to make sure that Brown`s punishment would include physical labor such as road cleaning.
The singer pleaded guilty to punching Barbadian pop star Rihanna until she was bloodied and bruised on the eve of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in February.
Sentencing has been rescheduled to August 27.
